Privacy Policy

XIANGYU Deep Video Converter is built to keep your footage on your own machine. This policy explains, in plain language, what data exists, who sees it, and why the answer is "almost nobody".

The short version: there is no upload code in the application, no telemetry, no analytics and no account system. Conversion runs as a local service on 127.0.0.1. We cannot see your videos, your files or how you use the app. The only personal data involved anywhere is what is required to process your payment and email you a licence key.

1. Data we handle, at a glance

WhatWho receives itWhy
Your video files and generated output Nobody. They stay on your disk. —
Usage / telemetry / crash data Nobody. None is collected. —
Email address, name, payment details Our merchant of record (Creem) for international orders To charge you, issue the invoice and comply with tax law
Licence key records The Developer To reissue a key if you lose it
Support emails you send us The Developer To answer your question

2. What the application does

The Software is a Windows desktop application whose interface is served by a local HTTP service bound to 127.0.0.1 — the loopback address, reachable only by programs on your own machine. Every stage of processing, including model inference and video encoding, happens in local processes.

Practically speaking this means you can disconnect from the internet entirely and every feature continues to work, including activation.

3. What happens when you buy

We never touch raw card numbers. Payment is handled by a payment provider:

We keep minimal purchase records (order reference, licence key issued, date) so that we can reissue keys and honour refunds. We do not build profiles, and we do not run advertising pixels on the payment pages.

4. What happens when you email support

Support is plain email. Whatever you write to us stays in the mailbox: luyingzhi2@gmail.com. We use it only to answer you and to diagnose the problem you describe. We do not add your address to any mailing list, and we do not send marketing email.

5. Website visitors

The product website at xiangyu.t-teams.uk is a set of static pages with no login, no comment system and no ad scripts. Standard web server logs produced by the hosting platform may record IP addresses and page requests; this is a property of the host rather than something we build into the pages.

6. What we do not do

7. Retention

Purchase and licence records are kept for as long as your licence is active, since a perpetual licence must remain verifiable indefinitely. Support emails are kept only as long as needed to resolve the issue. If you would like your records deleted, email us and we will remove what we are able to while preserving whatever is legally required for tax records.

8. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal data we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. Email us and we will respond within a reasonable period. Because we hold so little data, in most cases the answer is simply that we have nothing beyond an order reference and a licence key.

9. Children

The Software is a general-purpose media tool and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

10. Changes to this policy

If we ever change what we collect — for example by adding an optional update checker — we will update this page and revise the date at the top before the change takes effect. Making the app upload footage would contradict its entire purpose, and that is not going to change silently.
