Terms of Service

1. Licence grant

Upon payment we grant you a non-exclusive, perpetual licence to install and use the Software. "Perpetual" means the licence does not expire and is not tied to a subscription.

• The licence is granted to one named individual, who may install the Software on the personal computers they own or control (for example a desktop and a laptop).
• Each installation requires the same licence key. Keys are not machine-locked, and verification is performed offline.
• The licence covers all updates within the same major version series (currently 1.8.x).

2. Restrictions

You may not:

• Publish, share, give away or resell your licence key, or use one key across multiple people;
• Distribute copies of the installer or its bundled model weights publicly;
• Reverse engineer, decompile or modify the Software, or remove or circumvent its licence verification, except where applicable law expressly permits it;
• Use the Software to provide a commercial, multi-tenant or on-demand conversion service where the Software itself is the service being sold. Using its output in your own commercial video, film or AI-generation work is entirely permitted, including for paid client work.

If you need a team, lab or site licence, contact us and we will arrange one separately.

3. Delivery and activation

This is a digital product. Immediately after payment you receive, by email, the installer download link together with your licence key. Open License inside the application and paste the key to activate. Verification uses offline Ed25519 signatures, so activation requires no internet connection and no machine code.

Please keep your licence key safe. If you lose it, email us from the address used at purchase and we will reissue it.

4. Trial version

The downloadable trial includes every feature. The only limitation is that each clip is capped at 10 seconds; longer input is trimmed automatically with an on-screen notice rather than an error. Purchasing removes this cap.

5. Price, payment and taxes

The current price is USD 9.99 for a lifetime licence, a one-time payment with no recurring charges and no seat fees. Prices may change in the future; the price shown at checkout is the price you pay.

Orders placed outside mainland China are processed through our merchant of record (Creem). It acts as the legal seller for those transactions: it collects payment, calculates and remits any applicable VAT, GST or sales tax, issues the invoice and handles disputes and chargebacks. Orders placed inside mainland China may be processed through a domestic payment form instead.

6. Refunds

We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee. If the Software does not work for you, email us within 7 days of purchase for a full refund. Full conditions and the request procedure are described in the Refund Policy.

7. Updates and support

All 1.8.x updates are included at no extra cost. Support is provided by email; we aim to reply within 24 hours. Future major versions (for example 2.x) may be sold as a separate upgrade, and existing licences are never downgraded or revoked.

8. Intellectual property

The Software and its documentation remain the property of the Developer; you are purchasing a licence to use them, not ownership of them.

The bundled third-party models keep their own licences: Video-Depth-Anything (Apache-2.0), PyTorch KeypointRCNN (BSD-style) and MediaPipe FaceLandmarker (Apache-2.0). Their notices are shipped with the installer. Footage you convert and the output you generate remain yours, without any claim from us.

9. Privacy

The Software performs all processing locally and contains no upload or telemetry code. We do not receive your footage, and we cannot see it. See the Privacy Policy for details on what limited data is collected during purchase.

10. Warranty disclaimer

The Software is provided "as is" and "as available". While we test before each release, we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its output will satisfy every creative or technical requirement. Depth estimation, pose detection and face landmark models are statistical models and can produce inaccurate results on difficult footage.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Developer is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, nor for loss of profits, data or business opportunity arising from the use of, or inability to use, the Software. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the licence. Nothing here limits rights that cannot be limited by law under your jurisdiction.

12. Termination

We may terminate a licence only in the event of a material breach of these terms, such as public redistribution of a licence key. Your licence may be revoked; you may stop using the Software at any time, and section 6 still applies to purchases made in good faith.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The latest version is always published on this page with its revision date, and material changes will be noted on the product website. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Consumer protection rights granted to you by the mandatory law of your country of residence are not affected.
